We went to an elephant sanctuary. We stayed there for 5 night. The place that we stayed in was awful! The cabins had TONS of bugs and spiders and I HATE spiders! To flush the toilets you had to throw buckets of water down into the toilet! Other than the cabins most of it was good!
This is where we slept.
Thus is the very first elephant we saw her name is Onion. She had a whole in her head because her owner miss treated her.
This is May Nang and Ning Wan. May Nang is really scared so Ning Wan is comforting her!
This is Milot. She was very friendly she let us touch her. He favorite food is mangos!
Here is Milot reaching up to get her favorite food, mangoes!
When we were at the elephant sanctuary we got to cut down banana trees and we had to hoe. Some of the bananas are really heavy. It is fun to cut down banana trees but i didn't like hoeing. We hoed in the middle of the day and it was SO hot!!!!!!!
This is my little sister hoeing in the middle of the day.
We went to Siem Reap. This is Angkor Wat, it is the biggest temple in the world. It has so many beautiful carvings and some of the carvings tell stories.
This is one of the many buddhas in Angkor Wat. At the top of the photo you can see some of the carvings.
It's SO hot here! You are always sweating and we need to use umbrellas for shade!
Here is a monk in front of the temple. There are many monks in all the temples that we've been to and they spend hours in them!
This is my favorite temple it is called the Tomb raider. It is about 1000 years old. There are trees growing on it and around it. This trees roots are griping on to the temple.
This is a different temple. This one is known for its carvings. All of the carvings are symmetrical.
This picture was taken at the airport. We were flying to Luangprabang and it said (at the bottom on the right) that the weather is 42'C ( 100'F) in Luangprabang but it really feels like 45'C (115'F)!!!!!
