Nepal

Wee are in Nepal for 12 days. For the first 3 days we were in Kathmandu. I didn't really like Kathmanndu. It was really dirty and loud. When you are walking you are always in danger of being hit by a car or a motorcycle. Then for the next 6 days we were trekking.

This is me and my family in Kathmandu standing in front of the biggest Stupha in the world.

Here is the Stupha.

This is us on the very first day of trekking. It rained all morning so it was really muddy and wet.

Here are some little kids coming home from  school.

This is my sister and I taking a break on the first day. We had to climd 3,285 steep stairs. On the first day we climbed about 2000!

Here we are happy to be at the guest house! We found out that we are very interesting to Chinese people. We were eating and looked up and saw someone taking pictures of us from out their window. Another person was taking a video of us eating dinner.

Here we are on the second day climbing up the rest of the stairs.

More stairs.....

Here is one of the mountains. They are so tall! You can see part of the mountain but then if you look above the clouds you can see the peak! These mountains are taller than anything that I have ever seen!

This mountain is called fishtail mountain. This is the mountain when the sun is rising behind it.

Here is my little sister in a basket that a porter is carrying on his head. She is so lucky, she can go in the basket whenever she gets tired.

Here we are, happy to be at lunch after 3 1/2 hours of hiking! But sadly food in Nepal is ALWAYS the same! It is curry on rice, dahl baht, tea and popcorn.

Here we are on the second to last day, our last night. After the last 4 nights of trekking we have began to be excited about little things like if it is a squat toilet or a regular one. We are so happy if it is a regular toilet!
